Empowering social impact through university based consulting for organisations

Who We Are

Established in 2007, 180 Degrees Consulting (180DC) expanded to the University of Queensland in 2014. Our goal is to enhance our clients' operations by providing efficient solutions to various aspects of their business, including logistics, strategy, marketing, financial sustainability, data management, and social impact measurement.

Students

180 Degrees Consulting is akin to completing a fifth course each semester. Consultants enjoy the same benefits as all 180DC members with access to workshops and other events run by our sponsors. Events such as Consulting 101 provide an introduction to thinking like a consultant, with effective problem solving strategies that can assist in any field of work, including university assignments.

Client Testimonials

"The SolarBuddy team had an amazing experience with the 180 Degrees Consulting team at UQ. The final proposal presented was more than what we expected and it has given us as a charity, the ability to explain and share our Social Return on Investment clearly. The team updated up throughout the project and were forthcoming with questions and ideas. I would highly recommend 180 Degrees Consulting!"

"UQ 180 Degrees Consulting has completed three projects for UQ Health Care. Each of these health related projects were quite complex, requiring a fairly rapid comprehension of the issues and task at hand, and engagement with a range of stakeholders. The 180DC teams demonstrated impressive problem solving skills in analysing the compiled information and distilling their findings into conclusions and recommendations. Their reports were concise and well written, providing an excellent platform from which to take these projects onto future stages. 180DC were a delight to work with, I would highly recommend their services."
