Social Impact Measurement

Understanding the impact of a social enterprise is critical for grants, funding, and marketing. Social impact measurement has become a key capability for 180 Degrees Consulting UQ, with multiple projects in the previous year’s creating important metrics to assist organisations in determining their current standing, as well as highlight areas of focus in the future.

Social Return on Investment (SROI) is a model that accounts for a much broader concept of value beyond balance sheets; it seeks to incorporate the triple bottom line of social, environmental and economic costs and benefits. SROI can focus on evaluation of current practices or can be forecasted to predict the impact once organisations have achieved further growth.

To measure your organisation's social impact, our team will:

  • Develop a Social Return on Investment (SROI) model;

  • Identify and quantify impact on all relevant stakeholders; and

  • Recommend future strategies based on current impact assessment and goal progress.
