About Us
180 Degrees Consulting (180DC) was founded in 2007 with the University of Queensland opening a branch in 2014. 180DC has grown to be the largest university-based consulting society for Not-For-Profits (NFPs) and social enterprises, worldwide. 180DC helps our clients improve their operations through recommending more efficient ways of running aspects of their business such as logistics, strategy, marketing, financial sustainability, data management, and social impact measurement.
Our Mission
In Australia alone, the non-profit sector contributes over $43 billion to GDP each year, supporting the most vulnerable members of our global community. In 2016-7 the sector employed nearly 900, 000 people and attracted 4.6 million volunteers.
There are 10 million non-profits around the world that each year work to feed, clothe, heal and support the dis-empowered and disenfranchised. And yet less than 1% of the non-profit sector has access to high-quality affordable strategic and operational advice.
Over the last few years 180 Degrees Global has provided over $100 million worth of consulting services, trained 12,000 socially conscious future leaders, and undertaken 2.6 million hours of consulting to help 1829 non-profits.
180 Degrees has grown from a single branch in Sydney to having 150 branches at top universities in 35 countries around the world. The success of the 180 model speaks for itself. 96.8% of our past clients would recommend working with 180 Degrees to similar organisations.
